Guiding Teacher at Community Meditation Center

Am really honored and humble to be Guiding this wonderful community! Since its founding in 2007, the Community Meditation Center (CMC) has been dedicated to making Buddhist teachings accessible to everyone. We foster a global community focused on mindfulness, compassion, lovingkindness, and generosity.

At CMC, we offer online dharma talks, meditation sessions, and in-person retreats in New York City. We prioritize creating a diverse and inclusive environment where all practitioners can feel a sense of belonging. Join us as we deepen our practice and explore the joys of the Buddhadharma together.

Please feel invited to join online on Sundays! Teachings are always by donation.

Residential Retreats

Finding Freedom Together - a The Path Program at the Barre Center for Buddhist Studies (BCBS) Program Dates: February 28, 2025 - April 19, 2026 Application Deadline: November 8, 2024 (5:00 PM EST)

This yearlong journey that could deeply transform your practice and your life.

What makes this program so special is that it centers around practicing Insight Dialogue practice with an intimate group of practitioners for a whole year.

The more we practice together, the more we come to know each other in a way that allows our practice to deepen. Over the course of the year, as trust and connection grow, so does the richness of our experience and insight.

One of the many reasons I feel excited about this program is because it’s led by my dear friend and wonderful teacher, Nic Redfern. Nic brings such warmth, clarity, and insight to her teaching!

This program includes personal mentorship, regular group practice, and 3 in-person retreats, all designed to bring these teachings into the heart of our lives. If you’re seeking a space of refuge, where we can continue this journey of waking up in community, we encourage you to explore this opportunity. Deadline for application is November 8.

Feel free to visit Finding Freedom on the Path for more details.
